Thanks to the trade routes of Novi Sad and the transit center position, in Novi Sad interiors in the late 19th century appear and objects from Asia. In addition to carpets, such pieces as the hookah were brought. This hookah was the work of Constantinople in the 18th century, bought as a souvenir. In the Novi Sad environment this subject has had practical but more decorative role.
